Past Indefinite Tense 

Past Indefinite Tense के कुछ हिन्दी वाक्यों को गौर से देखें- - 
1. मैं नें एक पत्र लिखा ।
2. तुमने अंग्रेजी नहीं पढ़ा ।
3. क्या आपने खाना पका लिया था? 
  पहचान- - जिस वाक्य के अंत में लिखा/ पढ़ा/ लिया था  आदि रहे, तो उस वाक्य की क्रिया Past Tense में होता है ।

Affimative Sentence, Negative Sentence और Interrogative Sentence के वाक्यों को हिन्दी से अंग्रेजी बनाने के लिए Structures क्रमानुसार नीचे दिया गया है- - 

S + 2nd form of P.V. + O
S + did + not + P.V. + O 
Q.W. + did + S + P.V. + O
अब इन Structures के आधार पर क्रमशः Affimative, Negative और Interrogative Sentence के वाक्यों को सभी persons के सभी Numbers में नीचे दिया गया है जिससे कि आप को इन्हें समझ मे आसानी हो --
Affimative Sentence 
  1. मैं नें पत्र लिखा- - I wrote a letter. 
  2. हम लोगों ने काम कर लिया- -  We worked. 
  3. तुम नें अंग्रेजी पढ़ लिया- - You read English. 
  4. तुम लोग घर गये -- You went to house. 
  5. उसने कहा था- - He said. 
वे लोग गीत गाये -- They sang a song. 
Negative Sentence 
  1. मैं नें चोरी नहीं की -- I didn't steal.
  2. हमलोगों ने खाना नहीं खाया- - We didn't eat the food. 
  3. तुम ने कठिन परिश्रम नहीं किया -- You didn't labour hard. 
  4. तुम लोग ने चाय नहीं पीया- - You didn't take tea. 
  5. उसने अच्छा काम नहीं किया- - He didn't do good work. 
  6. वे लोग बाजार नहीं गये- - They didn't go to market. 

    Interrogative Sentence 
  1. मैं नें अपने लिए क्या किया- - What did I do for me? 
  2. हमलोगों कहाँ गए थे- - Where did we go? 
  3. तुम ने क्या पढ़ा-- What did you read?
  4. क्या तुम लोग ने पत्र लिख लिया- - Did you write a letter? 
  5. क्या उसने अपना काम कर लिया- - Did he / she do his work? 
  6. उन लोगों ने क्या नहीं किया -- What did they not do? 
अब आप सभी Structures को अच्छी तरह से याद कर उपरोक्त वर्णित वाक्यों को ध्यान से पढ़ें । फिर नीचे दिए गए       हिन्दी के वाक्यों को स्वयं अनुवाद करें- -
  1. तुम नें अपना काम कैसे किया ।
  2. हमलोगों ने सफलता प्राप्त किया ।
  3. राधिका ने पिता जी से कहा।
  4. कोरोना ने पूरी दुनियाँ को परेशान किया ।
  5. तुम नें क्या सोचा? 
  6. गगन नें अंग्रेजी पढ़ा ।
  7. हमलोगों ने आज स्कूल नहीं गया ।
  8. वे लोग कहाँ पहुँचे? 
  9. वह कहाँ गया? 
  10. उन्होंने कभी झूठ नहीं बोला ।
