How to use Modals verb appropriately

आज मैं आपको Modal verbs के बारे में बताने जा रहा हूँ ।ये should, would, may, might, can ,could आदि हैं । नीचे दिए गए कुछ वाक्यों को ध्यान से देखें- - 

  1. I should study now. 
  2. We can't leave this work. 
  3. May I know your name? 
  4. I couldn't believe.
  5. I shall go home. 
उपरोक्त वाक्यों में should, can, may, could और shall modal verbs के उदाहरण हैं । तो आईये आज सीखते हैं कि " How to use Modal verbs appropriately?"



पूर्व की भाँति पहले वाक्य को समझकर दूसरे वाक्य के खाली स्थान में सही modal verb भरना है -- 

  1. Ram can solve this problem. 
  2. Sita -- speak English. 
  3. You can seat here. 
  4. You  -- go now.
  5. Can I take your book? 
  6. --  I take a tea? 
  7. This can't be false. 
  8. This- -  be wrong. 
  9. Sohan can't be polite. 
  10. Radha  --  be naughty. 
  11. You did all for me that you could. 
  12.  Madan told me that he --   give me five hundred rupees. 
  13. When he was young he could run for hours.
  14. When I was young I --   take a exercise for two hours. 
  15. Could I have tea? 
  16. --    I watch video clips? 
  17. If you had more money, you could purchase a new flat.
  18. If you had more time, you -- watch a t.v. 
  19. You may do your work. 
  20. You- -  read a story. 
  21. Sita may cook the food. 
  22. Radha --  pass the examination.
