How to write an essay on Environmental Pollution
Today I’m going to discuss, “How to write an essay on Environmental Pollution?”This essay is important for Intermediate students. It is written in a very simple way so that the students can understand easily.
INTRODUCTION
According to Wikipedia, pollution is defined as,
“Pollution is the introduction of contaminants into the natural environment
that form of any substance or energy. Pollutants, the components of pollution,
can be foreign substances /energies or naturally occurring contaminants.”The
problem of pollution has become very serious nowadays. During this present
situation, the Delhi government had to close schools in Delhi.
MAIN TYPE OF
POLLUTION, THEIR CAUSES, AND EFFECTS
There are so many types of pollution. Some of them are
cauterized as follows:
1.
Air
Pollution – When the air becomes contaminated with poisonous
gases or particles, it is called air pollution. It affects human health. The
main causes of air pollution are partially combusted exhaust gases, sulfur
dioxide, and carbon monoxide, etc. When people breathe in polluted air, they
fall into respiratory problems. This problem causes many health conditions and
people have to suffer a lot.
t Water Pollution – The contamination of bodies of water including
groundwater is known as water pollution. We have to live on the water. If we
intake polluted water, it can affect our health. The main cause of water
pollution is industrial waste, insecticides, pesticides, fertilizers,
detergents, and oil spills.
3.
Soil
Pollution – When soil is stripped of its nutrients by a
number of chemicals, industrial waste and radioactive waste are the main causes of
soil pollution. It affects soil fertility. Soil becomes barrel. Soil
exertion is another cause of it.
4.
Thermal
pollution – Most of the factories release heat energy as it is a by-product of the environment and it is called heat pollution It causes global
warming. The level of carbon dioxide rises in the atmosphere. It prevents heat from
exerting the atmosphere and it causes thermal pollution which is responsible
melting of polar ice caps. It raises sea level.
5.
Noise
pollution – When an excess of unpleasant sounds emanating
from machines release into the environment, is called noise pollution. It causes so
many health problems. High-stress levels, hearing loss, hypertension,
depression, sleep disorder, etc, are some of the effects of sound pollution. It must be prevented strictly by laws.
6.
Radioactive
pollution – Beta rays released from radioactive metals causes
mutative diseases in human being and it is called radioactive pollution. It
mainly comes from nuclear plants.
CONCLUSION
Our government had adopted an action plan already before to prevent environmental pollution. Industries must have balance. Cutting trees should be minimized. Towns and cities planned carefully. We must not dump wastes on the earth or in the river. If we want to continue lives on the earth, we must have to take measures immediately.
